1. What we do
Storeshift (“we”, “us”) is a tool that scrapes publicly-listed marketplace data and produces a Shopify-importable CSV along with AI-assisted editorial outputs (product titles, categories, policy review). We do not operate a marketplace, we do not handle inventory, and we do not transact on behalf of users.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18, provide a valid email, and keep your account credentials private. One account per person. We may suspend accounts used for abuse, fraud, or violations of these Terms.
3. Payments
Runs are billed per-run at the price displayed at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe under their own terms. We do not store card data. Completed runs are non-refundable once the worker has started processing. Failed runs do not incur a charge; if a run fails after you’ve paid we will retry without additional cost.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Storeshift to:
- Scrape or resell content you do not have the right to use.
- Violate the terms of any third-party service (including eBay).
- Produce content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or rights of publicity.
- Stress-test our infrastructure or attempt to circumvent rate limits.
You are solely responsible for ensuring the products you import into your Shopify store can legally be resold by you.
5. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the outputs generated from your runs. We retain ownership of the Storeshift software and services. We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the product.
6. Takedown
We operate as a hosting service under DMCA safe harbor. Copyright owners may email dmca@storeshift.app with a valid takedown notice and we will remove infringing material promptly.
7. Warranty disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. MARKETPLACE DATA CHANGES CONSTANTLY; OUTPUT ACCURACY IS NOT GUARANTEED.
8. Limitation of liability
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THAT PERIOD. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination we will retain your run history for auditing; outputs already generated remain accessible unless the 30-day image lifecycle has expired them.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address.
